Our Commitment
How we Started
Built on Hard Work
Superior Building Company was founded by James Smith in February 2013 with a simple idea: work hard, do things the right way, and build something of your own.
James has never been one for sitting on the sidelines or being told how a job should be done by someone who wasn't willing to put in the work themselves. He started Superior because he wanted the freedom to build a company his way—one where hard work, accountability, and getting the job done mattered.
Like most businesses, Superior's path wasn't always easy. Over the years, the company changed, grew, and faced its share of challenges. Through it all, James stayed focused on the work and continued building the company from the ground up.
Today, Superior Building Company has grown into an experienced multi-family plumbing contractor serving projects throughout Tennessee and surrounding areas. Even as the projects have gotten larger, the philosophy behind the company has stayed pretty simple: show up, work hard, stand behind your work, and keep the job moving.
Our Expertise
Superior Building Company specializes in ground-up plumbing for multi-family construction. From underground installation through rough-in, top-out, trim, and final completion, our team understands what it takes to successfully manage the plumbing scope of large-scale projects.
With years of experience in multi-family construction, we know that keeping a project moving takes more than quality plumbing. It takes experienced supervision, dependable manpower, strong communication, coordination with other trades, and a commitment to meeting the project schedule.
Our team works alongside general contractors from the beginning of a project through completion, providing the experience and accountability needed to get the job done right.
